We handle different types of passwords during our daily business. For example, we log in to our WordPress website using our User Id and password – if compromised and if it reaches the wrong hands, it can pose severe danger to what we value most in the online business. We should have a Password Policy which strictly explains the do’s and don’ts of handling passwords.

Here in this post i would like to share an article on How to Protect Your Password From Hackers.

Policy’s to be Followed to Protect Your Password.

Do not write your password down – ( ANYWHERE )
Do not make obvious choices like your last name, first name, nickname, birth date, spouse name, pet name, make/model of car.
Do not share your password with anyone. Once it is out of your control, so is your security.
Do not use an alphabet sequence (lmnopqrst), a number sequence (12345678) or a keyboard sequence (qwertyuop).
